Event Details

Divisions

  • 3rd - 5th grade  (based on upcoming school year)

  • 6th - 8th grade  (based on upcoming school year)

  • High school boys (based on upcoming school year)

  • High school girls (based on upcoming school year)

  • Adult open coed (18 years +)  - must have at least 2 players/gender

You can play up a division, but you are not allowed to play down

Girls can play on any team including high school boys team

Schedule

The exact times will be released once registration closes

  • Friday night - Adult Open

  • Saturday morning - 3rd - 5th grade

  • Saturday afternoon/evening - 6th - 8th grade

  • Sunday morning - High school boys

  • Sunday afternoon - High school girls

Uniforms & Team Names

Teams are encouraged to create or determine their own uniforms.  Have fun, get creative.

We will have pinnies if 2 teams are scheduled to play each other and have the same color.

Also each team needs to provide their team name.  No profanity please

Shoes

Street soccer is traditionally played on a street.  In this case it will be a blacktop parking lot.  DO NOT wear cleats, you will not be allowed to play in cleats.  You must wear indoor soccer shoes, or any other type of athletic shoe that has a flat bottom.

Competition Format

5v5 (including Goalkeeper) - Goalkeeper is optional, but recommended

Roster size MUST be between 5 - 8 players/team

Minimum needed to play a match is 4 players/team

The roster can change the day of the competition, as long as all players meet the age requirements

All teams are guaranteed at least 3 matches

Games are 25 minutes with no halftime

$150/team

Team Fee

Tournament Shirts

Tournament shirts must be purchased online by July 11th..  They will be short sleeve moisture wicking t-shirts and are $18.  They will be available for pickup on the day of the tournament.

Awards

Each player on the winning team of each division will get season tickets to the Dekalb County United and a training voucher for Soccer Skills School - a combined value of $80

Location

The Street Soccer Tournament will be played in the parking lot of Blain's Farm & Fleet in Sycamore Il

1300 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178

Inclement Weather

The Street Soccer Tournament will still be played in wind and light rain, however we will be forced to cancel the event in the case of heavy rain and or lightning.  Since this is a fundraising event for the Dekalb County United and Soccer Skills School with significant upfront cost, refunds will not be given for team fees paid.
